Step Up to Quality

Goals: To improve the quality of early care and education settings in order to support children’s optimal development and learning. To provide parents with an easy to use tool to assist in selecting quality early care and education programs for their children.

All programs licensed by Ohio Department of Jobs & Family services are eligible to participate.

Step Up to Quality :
* recognizes programs that meet quality benchmarks over and above licensing standards.
*steps are based on national research that leads to improved outcomes for children.
*recognizes programs committed to achieving higher standards through annual quality achievement awards and access to T.E.A.C.H. scholarships
