After School Initiative
Overall demand for afterschool programs in the state far exceeds supply. In fact, Ohio has a gap of more than 240,000 spaces in structured, affordable and convenient afterschool programs according to a study released August 10th, 2006, by The Ohio Afterschool Network.
This initiative is designed to improve the quality of care available to families with school-age children.
An Afterschool Specialist is available to assist you with technical assistance on programming, room arrangement, classroom observation (SACERS), resources from our lending library and much more.
